The internet has a pretty amazing way of bringing people together. On a warm September weekend, two vintage vendors, acquainted online, met by chance in person. Both were goal diggers and were selling at a two-day market in Wicker Park, Chicago. One polished and peddled the sparkly pretties, and the other washed and dried the home goods and home decor. It was that moment of feeling like you just met someone you had known your entire life. Our lives were forever altered.
#onthursdaysweshop came about on a buying trip to a rural boutique. While waiting on a client at our buying appointment, we poked around the store and found a charming tea towel embroidered with the phrase, "Thursday, we shop". We of course had to take a picture with the framed up towel for our social media outlets because, after all, it was a Thursday, we were shopping, and, well, it seemed like a perfect hashtag.
#onthursdayswehop is the thrill of collecting and exploring our ever-changing personal style. It's fashion, it's home decor, it's our relationships, it's our life....
